The project extended lovable Day Care Facilities to 61 vulnerable elders (Male 12, Female 49). At this reporting period, 05 elders were newly admitted (male 3 and Female 6). 05 elders were expired due to old age and 04 were discharged. At present, 52 elders are given Day Care facilities
Conducted 04 medical camps in coordination with Primary Health Centre. 48 elders were participated and 02 were identified with an eye infection and referred to Nagapattinam Head Quarter Hospital for taking higher treatment.
The project observed World Elders Day in Coordination with District Administration at Nagapattinam. Various cultural programme were conducted for elders and distributed prizes. At this reporting period, 13 elders received Old Age Pensions.
The project celebrated vital events and functions such as Dewali, Pongal, Independence Day and did community awareness on elder care and thereby 384 were participated.
At this reporting period, the District Social Welfare Officer, GS/MS Extension Officer and Village Administrative Officer, Taluk Supply Officer of Nagapattinam and Integrated Elder Care Solution Pvt. Lt. Chennai have visited the project and given guidance.
